As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of GOOD MENUDO, I made my second trip to Hemet just to enjoy another bowl of their incredible menudo. It's perfectly seasoned, needing only the final touches--onions, cilantro, oregano, etc. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the meat is expertly cut and cleaned, whether you prefer it with or without pata. The ambiance is exceptionally clean, featuring 11 spacious booths and over 5 tables, with a maximum occupancy of 80. It's a comfortable and inviting space, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. While you're there, ask for the friendliest waitresses, Ray, or Robin--they'll take great care of you! Stop by for lunch or dinner, treat yourself to one of their mouthwatering cheeseburgers, and don't forget to grab an order of menudo to-go.
I had to make a run to get some fresh fruit and other supplies after our commercial refrigerator decided it needed to operate at 14 degrees and freeze everything. I've been passing by this little family shop so very many times promising myself I would pop it. I got to enjoy my country fried steak and eggs over medium. Has browns and biscuits and gravy. My server was excellent and attentive. The food hot, fresh and top quality. Just enough black pepper in the sausage gravy. I'll make it a point to come back again !
Ample parking and seating. Attentive waitress and very friendly. Big portion sizes and breakfast items are very reasonable. No music, average noise. My hash browns needed salt and pepper. The chile verde cheese omelette was delicious. Plenty of tender pieces of pork. Pancake was okay. Would definitely give this restaurant a try again and try something different.
Food is excellent the service is additional of 10+ they are starting dinner hours with great deals!
The server had 23 years of experience she was sweet The prices were higher than I can afford like a prime rib and eggs for $25.00 I am happy with the food I'm definitely FULL
We have visited patsy maes in east Hemet twice since opening. The first visit we had chicken fried steak and eggs and a breakfast burrito, both par excellence! The burrito was so huge I could only eat half, the chicken fried steak with gravy was the best in the city or maybe the state. Plentiful breakfasts, reasonable prices for what you get and fabulous service! Our waitress Ray L was fantastic with her friendliness and spot on service. on our last visit we had huevos rancheros and pork steak and eggs. The pork steak is so big we needed an extra plate to put it on. Everything cooked to perfection! Do yourselves a favor and support this new restaurant! In fact all of the staff works diligently, from a greeting at the door the bus person clearing dirty dishes. On a final note, the salsa is fantastic!
Exceeded my expectations! Been driving by this place back and forth to work and I'm kicking myself I haven't eaten here sooner. I ordered the turkey club which came with nice thick slabs of turkey! Side was their homemade potato salad. Food was 5 stars Service was also excellent! Cant wait to come back!
This place just opened this week in the Mtn. View Plaza shopping center in the location where Abby's Cafe was located. The name raised my curiosity so we went in and checked the place out for breakfast yesterday. It turns out that this is the same owner that had Patsy's Cafe in San Jacinto and still operates a couple of other local restaurants locally. Patsy's in San Jacinto was quite good and so is this new East Hemet location. If you liked Patsy's in San Jacinto, you'll like this one too. I had sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuit and gravy. The sausage patty had great flavor and it was not over done. My scrambled eggs were just right and the biscuit was fresh and gravy was awesome. My coffee cup stayed full and our waitress was attentive and friendly. We are happy that they chose a location in East Hemet to reopen one of the better diners in our Valley. I personally recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys diner type foods.
